Dedre Gentner is a cognitive scientist known for her work in the fields of analogy, language, and learning. Her research explores how people use analogical reasoning to understand complex concepts and solve problems, and how language amplifies our cognitive abilities. As a professor at Northwestern University, Dr. Gentner has contributed to our understanding of cognitive processes and their implications for education and artificial intelligence Dr. Gentner is committed to advancing the field through her research and mentoring, fostering a deeper understanding of how we think and learn.
